Gedongsongo Temple is a temple complex located on the slopes of Mount Ungaran. This temple complex was discovered by Raffles in 1804 and is a relic of the 9th century Sanjaya Dynasty. The name Gedongsongo comes from Javanese, namely Gedong which means building and Songo which means nine. However, the number of these temples is less than nine. The locations of the temples are quite far apart, so those of you who want to visit all the temples must have strong enough stamina. You can also use the services of horse tours. Certain areas can be used for camping.
